Bhavani Mata Salabatpura

Bhavani Mata Salabatpura - Surat

It is the incident of On Vikram Samvant 1849. In 1972 AD a person named gunshankar dreamed in Pune that you have to travel to the port of Suryapur.
As gunshankar himself was an ignorant brahmin, so he cannot tell anyone about his dream and in Vikram Samvant 1850, the time had passed from Pune to Surat. At that time Surat was prevalent as Suryapur. Then they settled in Surat.
On Vikram Samvant 1850, he got a vision of Mataji in his dream and received an order from Mataji that he has to visit Mataji for worshipping her near the well of the area occupied by Salabatpura Nawab. Gunshankar made his residence near the well. He devoted Mataji and began to chant. As Shankshankar himself was a Brahmin,  he used to chant Mataji according to the rituals.
In Vikram Samvant 1859, on the fifth night of Magsar sud, he dreamed that Mataji gave him footwear and ordered that I am buried under this well. Assume footprints as my order and take me out of this well to make me fine. Gunshankar talked to Nagarjuna about his dream and also showed the footprints which Mataji  gave him in his dream. On Vikram Samvant 1859 and 1802 AD, on the sixth day the idol of Mataji was taken out from the well. The shape of the idol is like Brahmani.
At the time when Mataji came out, the roar of the lion's voice was heard from the well and there were two small lions around the idol of Mataji. Therefore the name of Mataji was given Sinhvani Bhavani Mataji.
The fine of Mataji was set up by the hands of Gunshankar under the well which was originally made of wood. A Brahmin named Khanderavji started taking care of Mataji's fine and he dreamed that Mataji told him about building a new temple.
It is the matter of the time when the rule of Nawab was there so Nawab refused to build a new temple as the place of time was coming inside the border of Nawab. Surat had ten gates at the time when Mataji's Silgan was out of town. Mataji's silhouette was left outside the door. Nawab Silgan was not given permission to enter the town as it was an evening at that time.
Thus, when the doors of Nawab were automatically broken in honor of Mataji, Nawab apologized in the name of Mataji and gave the land of Nawab's name to Mataji and granted permission to build a new temple on Vikram Samvant 1965 and 1908 AD. Mataji was born alive.
